9 Reasons Nikki Bella Outlasting AJ Lee's WWE Diva Title Reign Was Best For Business

3. She's Improved By Leaps And Bounds

Most fans don't care to admit it, but Nikki Bella has improved quite a bit over the course of the last year or so. She's someone who seems committed to improving and has made noticeable strides in her ring work. Most fans will rip on both Nikki and Brie - who's much worse than her sister - and claim that they're terrible workers while touting the superiority of women like Natalya and Paige, when in reality there isn't that much of a gap in the ring work between them and Nikki. When you compare the Nikki Bella of 2015 to the wrestler she was a few years ago, she's come quite a long way. Her offense is stiff and varied, she's much more fluid, has improved her selling and her timing has gotten much better. She's not perfect, but she's improving. And for what Nikki lacks in the ring, she makes up for as an overall performer, something many of the other women in WWE haven't been able to grasp thus far. Is she a better wrestler than Charlotte? Of course not. But she's a better comprehensive package as a performer and that's something that has to be taken into account. If in-ring skills were all that mattered AJ Styles would be a bigger star than Steve Austin.
