9 Reasons Ryback Returning As A Face Is Best For Business

2. The Meathook Clothesline Is Even More Impressive

While the finisher is typically the biggest move of a wrestler to get over with the crowd, for Ryback, the Meathook Clothesline gets the biggest pop. Ryback would warm up the clothesline with a pumping of his arm to tune of the WWE Universe chanting FEED. ME. MORE! Then he would charge at his opponent and deliver a punishing clothesline that makes John Bradshaw Layfield proud. When Ryback was a heel, he quit setting up the Meathook Clothesline with the arm pump for a while because he knew the crowd would get behind him; which was the opposite of what he was looking for, especially when Ryback was in his bullying phase. Just like the YES! chant for Daniel Bryan, or WE THE PEOPLE by Jack Swagger, the WWE Universe completely loves chanting for Ryback when he sets up this move; which just further puts him over as a top babyface.
