9 UFC Stars Who Could Be In The WWE Soon

1. Chael Sonnen

https://twitter.com/sonnench/status/615952858467336192 Never count out the bad guy. Chael P. Sonnen has more lives than a cat. The three time UFC title challenger, despite being banned from the sport of MMA for two years (with less than a year remaining on that ban) has landed on his feet since losing his broadcasting job with FOX Sports. He's now an analyst at rival ESPN, and working commentary for Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling. That's on top of various other promotional duties, broadcasting jobs, and whatever else Sonnen cooks up, plus the odd appearance at Brazilian Jiu-jitsu competition Metamoris, where his ban from MMA is meaningless (as a submission grappling competition, it is not a combat sport, which is what Sonnen was technically banned from). The WWE could do worse than sign Sonnen, whose skill on the mic was unparalleled in the UFC, at least prior to the arrival of Conor McGregor. There were talks about the WWE bringing Sonnen in for a grudge match against arch-nemesis Wanderlei Silva around WrestleMania time, however, with Silva pretty much certifiably insane at this point, posting rambling videos on YouTube alleging all sorts of infractions by the UFC, and being in legal hot water after running from a drug test, talk petered out. That's not to say Sonnen won't pop up in the promotion anyway - he was a habit of turning up where you least expect, like in Light Heavyweight Title fights.
