9 Ups & 1 Down From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Sept 25)

4. Pissed Off Randy Orton

As a long-time Randy Orton detractor, coming round to 'The Viper's' recent excellence hasn't been easy for this author, but good lord, is he delivering absolute fire every single week.

Following up on his beatdown of Tye Dillinger, Orton scoffed at the mere notion that the former Gavin Spears was his next victim. "No, no," he said. "I think what it boils down to, Rome, is that 'Perfect 10' crap... just pisses me off."

What a c*nt.

A 30-second segment doesn't warrant greater analysis, but in his beatdown and follow-up interview, Orton once again positioned himself alongside Samoa Joe as the company's most effective heel. His snippets of weekly excellence are always a highlight, and watching him potentially torture Dillinger (one of the best losers in wrestling) some more should be wonderfully ghoulish fun.
