9 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 11)

7. A Sign Of Things To Come?

The new trio that's formed between Ace Austin and Reno Scum better not be a short-lived affair. They worked perfectly here.

They orchestrated a post-match beatdown on Eddie Edwards that saw the former American Wolf left beaten following an assisted curb stomp off the ropes, before the gang stood tall over his lifeless body. Having Ace use Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend as hired goons to watch his back adds even more depth to his character. It would be a shame to see that sort of opportunity wasted.

If history's taught us anything, it's that stables can work well in Impact when done correctly. If the tiniest thing goes wrong, then it can erase any good memories of the group's existence - just ask Aces and Eights.
