9 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 11)

8. An Innocent Man

If there's one word that doesn't even come close to describing Sami Callihan, it's innocent. Ever since he first made his presence felt in Impact a few years ago, it's been nothing but vile attack after vile attack from the 'Draw'.

Despite this, the World Championship number one contender made it clear this week that Brian Cage was locked up behind bars for good reason (which, to be fair, is true - he attacked a fan remember). Callihan added that it's Cage's fault his wife Melissa Santos got a glass bottle smashed over her head during their wedding, a moment that Brian Cage will never forget for as long as he's alive. He's continuing to defend what happened to Melissa - unbelievable scenes from Sami Callihan.

Sami is a perfect example of someone who'll do literally anything if it means sending a mental message to a rival. He's doing his best to make everyone believe he's the good guy here. Everything he's saying makes him out to be the nicest guy you could ever meet but as we would see later on in the evening, that's far from the case...
