Seth Rollins Curb Stomp

Aleister Black versus Seth Rollins should be a PPV-worthy match that plays out in front of a sold-out arena at some point in the future.

What we got Monday night was a pretty nice preview to that, with Black and Rollins trading their signature moves and going toe-to-toe, continuing the elevation of Aleister into the upper crust of the roster. Black hit a sweet jumping knee strike to Rollins as he spring-boarded into the ring, which set up a frenzied finish that featured Seth’s disciples distracting, Humberto Carrillo saving and dueling rollups that ended with Black getting the win.

But afterward, Rollins instructed Murphy and Austin Theory to attack Black and Carrillo, as the 3-on-2 assault ended with Seth stomping both opponents. It provided a great moment with Murphy and Theory holding Black as Rollins lined up Carrillo, with Aleister calling him a coward and to attack him, not Humberto. Rollins coolly told him his time was coming, stomped Carrillo, then told Black, “You want to be a hero? Here’s your prize!” before stomping him too.

Just a cool scene all the way around.
