9 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw Reunion

3. Cena Hype Job

Unfortunately, there was zero percent chance that John Cena was going to wrestle Monday night, so having him hype the crowd to open Raw was about the best thing we could hope for.

Cena fired everyone up and ran down the mega-stars to appear later, but then was interrupted by the Usos, who coaxed the Doctor of Thuganomics to drop a few quick rhymes, including a joke about Jimmy Uso’s arrest and mugshot. This then gave way to Rikishi – the Usos’ father – and a teased dance. However, The Revival and D-Von Dudley interrupted, which led to the opening tag team match.

*Whew* That was a lot to squeeze into an opening, and really not much of consequence was said or done, but you can’t say it wasn’t fast-paced and entertaining.
