9 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Aug 19)

8. The Fiend Strikes

After being off Raw last week following a dominant win at SummerSlam, Bray Wyatt’s Fiend returned Monday night to wreak havoc.

As in the past, Fiend showed up while a WWE Hall-of-Famer was in the ring, in this case, Jerry “The King” Lawler. Unlike previous times, Lawler recognized the warning signs that Wyatt was coming (lights going out), and he fled the ring. Unfortunately, Fiend met him on the stage, where he applied the Mandible Claw to subdue Lawler.

WWE is smart to keep these appearances spaced out a bit, so it doesn’t become too repetitive. But we have to wonder what’s next for Wyatt.
