You could possibly make this an “up” because this feud hopefully ended Saturday night and was brief, but holy hell it was bad.

Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal clashed at SummerSlam, and instead of it just being Drew hitting a Claymore in 30 seconds, we had to watch Mahal on offense for a couple minutes before McIntyre threw him around the ring a bunch and kicked his head off.

Worse, the entire feud centered on McIntyre’s sword, and the weapon didn’t play into the match at all, with it only coming out afterward to chase off Shanky & Veer, two guys Drew beat single-handedly on Raw. That was it. So the entire “Drew’s gonna behead people with a sword” deal was meaningless, and we had to endure Jinder on offense on the second-biggest PPV of the year.

Meanwhile, Bianca Belair got squashed. Sounds just wonderful.
