9 Wrestlers WWE Has BENCHED

2. The Wyatt Sicks

Few stables in recent memory have generated as much buzz in WWE with less actual matches and appearances as The Wyatt Sicks.

Teased for months throughout 2024 with cryptic vignettes, the group was positioned as a spiritual successor to Bray Wyatt’s haunting legacy - a mysterious faction ready to wreak havoc across WWE. Yet as of mid-2025, fans are still waiting...and waiting.

Despite the hype, the Wyatt Sicks have remained in limbo. Bo Dallas, Erick Rowan, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy were brought into the light then subsequently left in the shadows, victims of either cold feet or shifting creative priorities. This extended benching is baffling. WWE invested months in eerie build-up - easily among the most talked-about storytelling threads of the last year regardless of your opinions on the genre - only to stall following a 50/50 booked rivalry with The Final Testament. In an era of patient, long-term narratives and consistent character work, the Wyatt Sicks could've brought psychological horror and fresh creative energy to Raw or SmackDown. Instead, their absence is becoming more frustrating than mysterious.

Whether it’s a tribute project gone cold or simply poor timing, WWE might have squandered what could’ve been yet another Wyatt-adjacent money-maker. As of writing, it's unknown when they'll return to house shows, let alone television or Premium Live Events
