9 WWE Wrestlers For Whom 2017 Is Make Or Break

Will the calls for Cesaro to take a major role in WWE ever stop? The Swiss Superman is popular with the fans, as good as anyone inside the ring, and could be an international media superstar for the company. So why does the WWE have such a reluctance to get on board with the Cesaro Section?

2017 is going to give us a great idea of the patience of the man formerly known as Claudio Castagnoli. If he continues to be somewhat underused, will he decide enough is enough and head back into the wild of professional wrestling? He’d have no problem finding work, that much is for sure, and a Cesaro/Tomohiro Ishii match is something the world needs.

Or will he stay, content with working on the biggest stage of them all albeit in a role beneath his abilities? If 2017 is another year without a world championship for Cesaro, it is fair to say his big push isn’t going to come.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
