Okay, so not exactly an active in-ring performer, but a performer nonetheless. Of the four individuals in positions of authority on the main roster the Hardcore Legend is the least effective. It doesn’t help that he is on the show that seems hell-bent on continuing that most infuriating of WWE tropes, the all-powerful McMahon family authority.

Mick’s character is one of the least consistent on WWE programming today, an authority figure who is all too quick to get involved in certain performers' careers yet generally gets undermined by Stephanie McMahon the whole time. He is still immensely beloved, but some of that love may be lost unless things change.

Foley would undoubtedly be better suited to being on SmackDown Live, but unfortunately his position is already taken there. Unless things change in the presentation of Mick Foley’s character, 2017 may see a new general manager running Raw.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
