AEW Double Or Nothing 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

6. Jon Moxley Retains

Time to p*ss off a few fans on Twitter.

This particular fan has never really viewed Brodie Lee as World Title material. His work in the Dark Order to date has been fine, but this program with Jon Moxley is only half what Mox's feud with Chris Jericho was, and nothing AEW has tried in the build has really made the title bout feel huge or must-see.

Though it'd be smart to give Lee and his cultish chums an out so they don't look like absolute losers, it's also true that Moxley must retain a Double Or Nothing; maybe the worst thing about this situation is nobody will ever know if Lee challenging Mox would've worked in front of passionate live crowds. It's kinda' hard to gauge World Title feuds without fans, after all.

Regardless, it all feels second rate and AEW would be foolish to book a title switch here. Moxley still has so much to offer as the main man in this company, and it'd be a crying shame if his first reign ended so suddenly in such a meh rivalry.
