AEW Double Or Nothing 2023: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

1. CM Punk & MJF In Another Non-Title Feud

Then, in the aftermath of MJF's title loss, what if none other than CM Punk rolls out to bask in the misery of young Max? The wrestling world would be shook if Punk was at Double Or Nothing. After all, his legal/contractual issues with AEW haven't been 100% sorted out yet, but hopes remain high he'll play a part in Collision's debut.

Jumping the gun on that would be some error.

Of course, Punk and All Elite's lawyers would need to agree on absolutely everything first. That seems far-fetched, but keep in mind - these are "nightmare" scenarios more than anything else. The sh*ttiest thing about Punk being on hand for DoN is that he'd effectively be coming back for something he's already done (feud with MJF).

AEW does enjoy big time shocks on this pay-per-view series though. It's where Jon Moxley roared into view back in 2019, for example. Could CM Punk be this show's nasty little surprise, thus putting two fingers up at Collision's launch in the process?
