That's right. This should be DoN's main event.

Traditionally, the World Title showdown is a card's headliner, but think of the gimmick Adam Copeland and Malakai Black are working with on Sunday. They're in a 'Barbed Wire Steel Cage' bout, and they're clearly going to get bloody and dramatic throughout. Swerve vs. Christian wouldn't be able to follow a stunt show like this.

No other match barring 'Anarchy In The Arena' could, being honest. On that, it'd be best if AEW kept 'Anarchy' and this cage clash as far apart as possible. They absolutely cannot bleed (ahem) into one another on the format sheets. Give people time to come back down before getting gritty all over again.

Copeland vs. Black works as a main event no matter who comes out on top in the end. If Adam retains, then AEW has a babyface send off for the pay-per-view. If Malakai gets his first singles strap in the company, then that's a banner moment too. It really is win-win, and it must go on last.
