During the build towards DoN, Claudio Castagnoli stormed out of the ring when his BCC stablemate Bryan Danielson was talking about taking the fight to The Elite. Later, Claudio revealed heartfelt concerns about Bryan working a match as dangerous as 'Anarchy In The Arena', and reminisced about how much last year's version took out of his friend.

That's a plot device everyone can use on Sunday.

'Anarchy In The Arena' matches to date have ranged between 22-27 minutes, which means the 2024 iteration will fall somewhere in that range (or longer). The gruelling nature of an arena-wide brawl, and the viciousness of The Young Bucks, Jack Perry and Kazuchika Okada, should collide to make this a tough night for Danielson.

Imagine the worried looks if he collapsed midway through. The announcers would question whether or not Castagnoli was right, and talk about Bryan's wounded warrior routine vs. Will Ospreay. This is the beginning of the end for Danielson winding down his career anyway, so why not lean into it?
