Tony Khan has confirmed that Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston's "I Quit" match for the AEW World Championship will headline Full Gear 2020 tomorrow night.

The AEW President did so during an interview on Wrestling Observer Radio, noting that the "World Title has generally gone on last [in AEW]", with Double Or Nothing's Stadium Stampede the exception to this rule.

"It would be hard to go back into the arena after we'd done Stadium Stampede, it was just epic," said Khan. "Moxley and Brodie Lee was one of our biggest title matches but even Jon didn't want to go on after the Stadium Stampede. He was pretty adamant that he didn't want to go on last."

Generally, Khan believes that the World Title should headline. "There are exceptions like the Stadium Stampede, or maybe in Toronto with Hogan and The Rock where it doesn't necessarily make sense. In this case, I do think Eddie and Jon going on last makes a lot of sense."

The Young Bucks vs. FTR had been tipped as a potential Full Gear headliner, though it looks like the Tag Team Championships will instead be contested further down the card.
