AEW Full Gear 2022: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

4. Fan Expectations For Saraya Are Too High

By close of business on Saturday night, it'd be awesome if Saraya was basking in the afterglow of a comeback match to be proud of. There's just something utterly lovely about picturing her excitedly FaceTiming family and friends to let them know everything is fine and that her match vs. Britt Baker was a Full Gear highlight.

Just...check your expectations going in, please.

It's easy to get swept up in all the hype and expect Saraya to suddenly turn in a performance that'd make Kenny Omega sell his wrestling boots on eBay. However, that's unrealistic. The former Paige is working her first bout in five long years, so there will be some ring rust to shake off.

Unfortunately, most can see Twitter blowing up with negative comments about the match as soon as the bell sounds. Saraya has earned the right to be excited, so it'd be a shame if she suffered some post-match comedown by reading pages and pages of disappointed tweets.
