AEW: Ranking Every 2020 Signing's Run From Best To Worst
1. Mr. Brodie Lee
Mr. Brodie Lee was always number one on this list.
The recent tragic death of Jon Huber, the man who portrayed the leader of The Dark Order in AEW, had nothing to do with his placement at the top.
He escaped his WWE contract, debuted as "The Exalted One", had a main event programme with Jon Moxley, captured the TNT Championship from Cody in dominant fashion, and put on an epic Dog Collar rematch that would turn out to be his final ever bout.
Brodie revitalised the Dark Order, became a champion, and put on some amazing matches with some of the best wrestlers in the world. His potential was finally being reached, before tragedy took this extraordinary talent from us far too soon.
Much has been written about Jon Huber by those who actually knew him, so please go and read the multitude of tributes that have been flooding in for a man whose love for wrestling was matched only by his love for his family.
This year has been awful and, for wrestling fans, Brodie Lee's untimely passing at just 41-years-old has solidified that. However, if one kernel of positivity can be found from this utterly horrible situation, it's that, for the last year of his life, Brodie Lee showed us all what he was capable of, and that shall be the lasting image for a truly wonderful person.
Rest in peace.
