While social media is obviously a fantastic tool that offers up the opportunity to express thoughts and opinions in an instant, of course there are those who use that opportunity to throw abuse in other people’s direction. And one such person who found themselves recently targeted online, was Chris Jericho.

Following last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, the inaugural AEW World Champion found himself being body shamed by certain people on Twitter. Considering his age and the wear and tear that his body’s endured over the decades, the 50-year-old Jericho is in great shape – yet, for some reason, there are those who will take great pleasure in pointing out how Le Champion isn’t in as good a shape as he was 20 years ago.

Firing back at those haters, Jericho last night took to Twitter (in a since deleted post) to show himself looking ripped.

Using the hashtag #FatJericho, the multiple-time World Champion commented on how he “can do more timed pushups, weighted squats, and incline sit-ups than all of” his detractors, adding how he still draws record ratings.

Just a friendly reminder, people. 2020 has been an awful year for so many reasons, so how ‘bout cutting back on that online hate as we enter the new year? Being nice or simply saying nothing doesn't cost a thing.
