Aleister Black Returns On WWE SmackDown
Aleister Black re-emerged with a tale about a Dragon on WWE SmackDown...
Aleister Black made his long-awaited return to WWE television on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.
Appearing in a brand new vignette, Black cut a chilling figure as he read out the first chapter ("The Dragon") of a book entitled "Tales of The Dark Father”. Within this promo, the former NXT Champion talked of attending many funerals as a child and about how he was "taught how to become The Dragon".
It also appears Black is taking on the role of heel in this latest run, with the former Tommy End signing off the segment by telling those watching:
“You gawking at the screen right now, you are the monsters and I am nothing like you, and I would never help you. You are the ones who reveal the true rotten nature of man, with your lies and your deceit, you transform your own children into bigger monsters than you are. What you do is vile, and it should be condemned. Like rotting crops you should be scorched from the Earth to make room for more fertile things.”
Following up on this distinct returning vignette, Black took to Twitter, posting, “Let’s cut the weeds, sing our songs and let me tell you a story riddled in sins. You will know me, you will know him. You will dance with me in the abyss”.

After not wrestling on WWE television since October 12, 2020, it finally looks as though Black has found a new direction in the company. It was also reported a few weeks ago that these vignettes will be loosely inspired by Black's own upbringing, so it's fair to assume the star will have his fingerprints all over these segments in the coming weeks.
For now though, we'll just have to wait and see what Chapter Two teaches us about The Dragon and this dimly lit returning force.
