Another WWE Star's Contract Due To Expire Soon
This multiple-time champion's current WWE deal is due to expire in the next few months.
With Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor's existing WWE deals due to expire in the next few months, another name to add to that list is Natalya.
Per Fightful Select, Natalya's WWE contract is up within "the next couple of months", and talks have yet to commence over a new deal for the third-generation star. At present, the 41-year-old is WWE's longest-serving female talent, having been with the market leader since 2007. During that time, the Calgary native has won the SmackDown Women's Championship, the Divas Championship, and the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.
On this matter, Fightful adds how now-former WWE EVP of Talent Dan Ventrelle was viewed as one reason why many existing WWE contracts have been allowed to get so close to expiration. While Ventrelle was discussing new deals for several talents prior to his release last week, many felt that he wasn't suitable for the role he was in, particularly when it comes to negotiating contracts with members of the WWE roster.
While specifics aren't known for the bulk of the names listed above, Becky Lynch revealed a couple of weeks ago that she's now into the final two months of her WWE contract.
