The internet naturally jumped to conclusions when it was revealed that Kelly Kelly replaced Sasha Banks in the women's Rumble. Cynics out there guessed that Sasha and WWE had fallen out, or that Banks didn't think she should be jobbing in the match. That, as reported on Monday afternoon, wasn't the case.

Banks is still working through a injury.

The future looks bright for her regardless. Online rumblings suggest that a Bayley vs. Banks match at WrestleMania seems likely, and that'd be a nice spot for Sasha. It's a match WWE have toyed with for years now, and it's one both women would be excited to work. The vital thing here is ensuring that the right woman turns face.

As Bayley has just turned heel following years of girl-next-door vibes, Sasha is the prime candidate for a switch in time for 'Mania. Fans would readily accept her again, and Banks' credibility as a threat to Bayley's SmackDown belt cannot be questioned.
