For those fearing that Jon Moxley was about to be added to AEW's injury list, you can now take a deep sigh of relief.

Such fears came about after Mox grabbed the microphone after AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door went off the air this past Sunday. There, whilst addressing the United Center audience after his win over Hiroshi Tanahashi, the interim AEW World Champion proclaimed how he was "probably concussed". As such, some have been concerned that the Death Rider was set for a spell on the sidelines.

Speaking on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that Moxley is absolutely fine, did not suffer a concussion at Forbidden Door, and is fit and ready to go for the six-on-six Blood & Guts contest on this week's AEW Dynamite. There, Mox will team with Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz to take on the Jericho Appreciation Society in only the second ever Blood & Guts contest.

In terms of injuries, AEW currently has CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Kenny Omega, Kyle O'Reilly, Red Velvet, Leyla Hirsch, Anthony Bowens and Lee Johnson amongst those unable to compete. Added to that, Adam Cole reportedly suffered a concussion during Forbidden Door's IWGP Heavyweight Title match, and the company also has Jeff Hardy serving a suspension after his latest DUI arrest.

Whichever way you look at it, that's a significant amount of talent to have out of action at any one time, but it's also testament to both AEW and New Japan Pro-Wrestling that they were able to put such a phenomenal PPV with Forbidden Door when so many significant chess pieces were off the table.
