Best And Worst WWE Title Reigns Of 2017 (So Far)
4. Alexa Bliss (WWE SmackDown Women's Champion)

The Women's Revolution was built on the backs of The Four Horsewomen: Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. For a time it was difficult to see how any female talent would reach their level, but surprisingly, Alexa Bliss has knocked it out of the park.
SmackDown Live's women's division was without a true heel counterpart to Becky Lynch, at which point Bliss took the role for herself. Given that her in-ring work in NXT had slowed down, many were pleasantly surprised by her ability to go toe-to-toe with Lynch. That said, it was her loathsome heel character that made her such a valuable asset in SDL's early days.
Bliss is hugely convincing as an out-and-out b*tch. This gave her two runs as SmackDown Women's Champion added depth, as we didn't just want to see Naomi and Becky claim the top prize, but we also wanted to see Bliss knocked down a peg or two.
Many doubted that the women's division could survive being segregated between the red and blue brands. Alexa's time atop SDL's totem pole proved to be a key component in legitimising the brand split.
