5. The Usos (WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions)

The Usos barely resemble the face-painting, tribal-dancing tag team they once portrayed. They are now a pair of menacing heels who talk down to their opponents and the fans who once cheered them. This brilliant character change is what led them to the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Where the men and women of SDL were firing on all cylinders, the tag team division was lagging behind. The Tag Championships got locked up in the Wyatt Family feud for a time, before American Alpha had their crowning moment long before they were fully ready to have it. This is where The Usos stepped in. A legitimate tag team who have expertly shaken off the label of 'stale' that had been following them for some time, Jimmy and Jey are now leading the tag team division in a new direction as champs.

Their impassioned promos both on SmackDown and Talking Smack have been the hallmark of their title reign to this point. Developing into dominant heel champions gives their opponents more impetus to conquer them. Breezango and American Alpha have already benefited hugely from feuding with the brothers, and they'll continue to work wonders atop SmackDown's tag division.
