Bray Wyatt's 6 Biggest WWE Defeats (So Far)
1. Goldberg (Super ShowDown 2020)
Not much good has come from WWE's Saudi Arabia shows, and if anything the shows seem to be getting harder to watch.
So when it was announced that The Fiend would be defending his Universal Championship against Goldberg at Super ShowDown, we should have all been expecting bad news. It was almost unanimously agreed that Bray needed to win this match, but if we know WWE, that doesn't mean anything.
If the plan for WrestleMania was for Goldberg to face Roman Reigns and Wyatt to face John Cena, then that's fine, but there was no need to switch the title. If anything, both matches would be better if The Fiend held onto the championship. Bray and Cena would have battled over the top prize on Smackdown as Cena attempted to go for a record-breaking 17th World Title reign.
Meanwhile, Reigns and Goldberg could do battle without the fans resenting the fact that a 53-year old man is walking into the event as Universal Champion.
But in a result that somehow felt simultaneously shocking and inevitable, Goldberg easily defeated The Fiend to take the belt and seemingly cement the fact that Bray Wyatt will never be a legitimate main eventer in the company.
