33. Vs. Test - King of the Ring 2002

Lesnar was the favourite to win the 2002 King of the Ring. Clearly, this was a guy that WWE were going to push to the moon (they wouldn't have signed him to a $250,000 per year developmental deal if they weren't). Although still very green, it was obvious that Lesnar had the tools and was catching on. King of the Ring should have been his night. He should have went out and put on the performances of a lifetime but, instead, he just went out there and had a couple of disappointing tournament matches. His quarter final match with Test was alright, for what it was. It had one notable moment, where Lesnar kicked out of the Canadian's big boot for a heart-stopping nearfall. Lesnar of course got the win following some distraction by that dastardly Paul Heyman.
