Brock Lesnar's WWE SummerSlam Matches: Ranked From Worst To Best
2. Fatal Four Way – Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman (2017)
Sometimes you don’t need a technical wrestling epic to love a match. Every now and again you just need big, dumb, destructive fun. That’s exactly what we got here. With four of the biggest, most dominant superstars involved in the same match, expectations were already pretty high. Somehow, this fatal four way main event still managed to exceed them.
It’s not often you see Lesnar manhandled, let alone almost sent to the hospital. Braun Strowman set out to make a name for himself, putting the champ through all of the announce tables, causing him to be stretchered off. This swerved fans into assuming they’d see a new Universal Champion crowned on a night when rumours of Lesnar leaving WWE were rampant.
All three remaining wrestlers got their own moments to shine, until the destruction derby came to a head when Lesnar re-emerged and shocked everyone by retaining the title after pinning Reigns and allowing everyone watching to finally catch their breath. A true summer blockbuster!
