According to both F4WOnline and local advertisements in the Pittsburgh area, WWE is planning on pitting the top two champions of the Raw brand against one another.

WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens and WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns are scheduled to go one on one in the main event of December's Roadblock PPV, subtitled "The End of the Line."

Though plans are always subject to change, WWE has already begun teasing the match on TV. During the post-Hell in a Cell episode of Raw Talk on the WWE Network, Reigns - fresh off a victory over Rusev - made it clear that he was looking to pursue the top title on the brand. The U.S. Champion told interviewers that he has two shoulders, then said that was looking for another strap.

Ever since returning from a Wellness Policy suspension to lose in the main event of Battleground, Reigns has been out of the heavyweight title picture on Raw. Nevertheless, he has still managed to capture the United States Title and he remains one of the top stars on the red brand.

Roadblock takes place on December 18 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania's PPG Paints Arena. It will air live on the WWE Network at 8:00 PM ET.
