Chris Jericho Challenges For IWGP Title At NJPW Dominion
'Painmaker' posts creepy vid announcing 9 June intentions.

Chris Jericho has suddenly come over all Bray Wyatt - at least, the non-perverse Mr. Rogers parodying version - with a new video published by NJPW, in which he has staked a claim for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at 9 June's Dominion.
The vid opens with some stock creepy imagery, including porcelain dolls and evil black balloons, all overlaid with customary idiophone music. It's part Dustin Rhodes and part Mojo Rawley, as Jericho stares chaotically into a mirror as he applies his Alex DeLarge-esque make-up, with the frenzied scream of "I'M GONNA WIN!!!" echoing around him.
The behatted Lionheart then turns to the camera and delivers the following ominous message:
"I am Chris Jericho. I am the Painmaker. And on June 9th at Dominion in Osaka, I will challenge for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. And I'm gonna win."
Blimey. Presumably, this isn't purely speculative on Jericho's part, and he'll now contest said IWGP champ Kazuchika Okada come the show at Osaka-jō Hall next month.
It's been a good few weeks for weird, personal wrestling vids, what with the aforementioned Dustin Rhodes reveal and John Moxley's big comeback. The Jericho one, if not the best, is certainly the most recent.
