2. The Best vs. The Best - WrestleMania 28
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1jtpfk_wrestlemania-28-cm-punk-vs-chris-jericho-wwe-championship_sport One of the major matches on the WrestleMania 28 card pitted WWE champion CM Punk against Chris Jericho in battle between two competitors who believed they were the best wrestler in the world. It was turned personal when Jericho made claims about Punk's sister on Monday Night Raw and, just prior to the bout, authority figure John Laurinaitis informed Punk that if he were to allow his emotions to get the best of him and get disqualified, he would lose his title. Punk wanted nothing more to unleash his frustrations on Jericho but he found himself forced to compete within the confines of the rules. After teasing a possible disqualification finish early, the wrestlers settled down and delivered a fine match. Counter wrestling was the name of the game as they utilized it to escape one another's signature moves, finishers and trademark submission holds. The way in which Jericho fought out of the champion's Anaconda Vise maneuver and applied the Walls of Jericho was thrilling and captivated the audience as a result. Ultimately, Punk was able to grab hold of Jericho and reapply the Anaconda Vise, forcing a tap out from the former Undisputed Champion. The win was the latest in a title reign that would stretch 434 days before being ended by The Rock at Royal Rumble 2013. More importantly, it gave Punk that one really good wrestling match against an equally-as-talented in-ring worker on the biggest stage the sport has to offer. It likely would have gone down as the greatest WrestleMania moment in Punk's career, as the following year's match never occurred.
