CM Punk Reveals New WWE Championship Belt On Its Way

"There is a new title, I've seen it and I'll probably get in trouble for saying it, I don't know if it's any better looking than that one" (in reference to the current WWE Championship belt that he had on the table) "I have to look at it again. The current WWE Championship Title was introduced back in 2005 by John Cena. At the time it was known as the 'spinner' belt. The Championship was designed to represent Cena's rap gimmick. However, in 2007 the Title's spinning centrepiece was amended to a fixed position. Although the Championship has undergone two brief modifications in which Edge introduced his own style of belt to reflect his Rated-R reign, while the Miz briefly re-introduced the spinner so he could adjust the centre to replicate an M. The actual belt however has never strayed far from its 2005 original concept. There is no word on when the Title is to be introduced and is currently unknown whether it has been specifically designed for CM Punk or if a more generic design has been created.
