Current AEW Star Says WWE Has "Insulted" Seth Rollins

This AEW star isn't impressed with WWE's build towards WrestleMania 40.

AEW star Thunder Rosa took aim at WWE for leaving Bayley off the recent WrestleMania XL Kickoff press event in Las Vegas, but she wasn't quite finished there. Rosa is also miffed at the way creative has handled another of WWE's biggest stars during the road to Philadelphia.

She thinks WWE has been "insulting" Seth since CM Punk was struck down by a triceps injury at Royal Rumble that, in turn, ruled him out of contention for a match at 'Mania. Since then, Rollins has been warring with Drew McIntyre, but also got involved in the ongoing saga involving The Rock, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.

Speaking via Busted Open Radio, Rosa opined that WWE has asked Seth to "diminish" his own character (and the World Heavyweight Championship) by latching on to someone else's story. In other words, Thunder doesn't think Rollins sticking up for Cody is a good contingency plan following Punk's injury.

It'll ruffle some feathers that an active AEW talent is being so critical of WWE's creative process, but Rosa was asked to give her thoughts on the show and decided to be brutally honest.
