Dean Ambrose's Top 10 WWE Moments

4. Dean Ambrose Vs. Seth Rollins (Money In The Bank 2015)

Much like The Shield’s incredible series of six-man tag matches, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins have put-on a number of excellent singles ties since The Shield’s dissolution. This one didn’t involve a spooky hologram or a Dusty Finish, so it beats out their Hell in a Cell 2014 and Elimination Chamber 2015 matches respectively.

Having defeated Rollins via DQ at the previous PPV, Ambrose stole his former stablemate’s WWE Championship in the run-up to this fantastic ladder match.

Clocking in at 35 minutes, this match could have used some trimming (particularly around the slow opening stages), but it stays memorable thanks to the seemingly crippling levels of punishment that Ambrose fought through.

From two running powerbombs onto the barricade to another on a chair-covered ladder, Ambrose fought back from everything Rollins threw at him. In the end, both men climbed the ladder, then fell to the ground with the title in their clutches. The impact loosened Dean’s grip enough for Seth to take the belt and claim the victory, but he’d escaped by the skin of his teeth, and Ambrose looked like the toughest man on the planet.
