Every AEW Pay-Per-View Ranked - From Worst To Best
18. Double Or Nothing 2019
The very first AEW PPV from Las Vegas was a tidal wave of great wrestling, but it was a little difficult for the upstart company to sell stories, as they were yet to have a weekly TV show. This didn't hinder the fledgling company one bit, as AEW put on a great show that had fans salivating for the company to take off.
Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega brought their zeitgeist-capturing feud to American soil for the first time, with Jericho emerging victorious and earning the right to compete for the inaugural AEW World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming All Out event. The night ended with Kenny Omega being attacked by Jon Moxley, making his first appearance since leaving WWE and starting his AEW journey with a bang.
'Hangman' Adam Page won the right to meet Jericho to fight for the honour of being the first champion, winning the first Casino Battle Royale, eliminating MJF in the finale. The Young Bucks and Lucha Bros put on a stunning match to showcase the tag team greatness that was to come from AEW, and Cody and Dustin Rhodes stole the night with an emotionally draining match that ended with their reconciliation, as the brothers put aside their differences to begin a programme with The Young Bucks.
