Every AEW Pay-Per-View Ranked - From Worst To Best
19. All Out 2023
All Out 2023 was the night that Konosuke Takeshita fully came of age in All Elite Wrestling. After impressing everyone since his arrival, the Japanese warrior pinned Kenny Omega cleanly (despite repeatedly trying to take him out with a screwdriver). The card of the event may have ebbed and flowed with varying quality, but this match was worth the entry fee alone.
Similarly excellent was the No DQ Strap Match between Bryan Danielson and Ricky Starks. Starks was the perfect heel and showed his aggressive side, but it was The American Dragon who would win the day by providing his own violent streak by applying the LaBell Lock with the strap wrapped around Starks' neck.
Powerhouse Hobbs and Miro showed great chemistry in their one-on-one encounter, and the eight-man tag between Bullet Club Gold and the unlikely team of FTR and The Young Bucks was a white-knuckle banger. There was way a lot of matches that fell short of the standard set by AEW PPVs though, including a dull TNT title match between Luchasaurus and the challenging Darby Allin and a relatively mediocre main event in which Jon Moxley finally put an end to Orange Cassidy's brilliant and relentless International Championship run.
