1. vs The Undertaker - WrestleMania 29

CM Punk has done a lot of things in his career, but one fact that often gets overlooked is that he was the final victim of The Streak.

His rivalry with The Undertaker in the lead up to WrestleMania 29 was pure box office, and not always for the right reasons. The decision to incorporate the recent death of Paul Bearer into the story was heavily criticised, but you can't deny that it didn't make things more interesting.

The Second City Saint was the perfect foil for Mean Mark. His smaller frame and more technical style meshed perfectly with the big bruiser. It also felt very plausible that he could win, especially as he'd been WWE Champion very recently.

A gruelling epic that ran the emotional gamut, Punk and Taker built seamlessly to an almighty crescendo. After kicking out of a shot from Bearer's urn, The Deadman powered up, dropped his agitator with a Tombstone, and sealed the victory for himself and his fallen friend. You could argue that Punk should have been involved in the Cena/Rock main event instead, but it's hard to push back on an alternative as strong as this.
