Every Current Champion In WWE (And Who Should Beat Them)

13. NXT Women’s Title

CM Punk Seth Rollins
WWE

Champion: Jacy Jayne

Who Should Beat Her: Jordynne Grace

This might've happened by now had Blake Monroe not cost Jordynne Grace back at Evolution on 13 July. Her interference and screwing over of Grace has led to a match between the former (brief) on screen pals at NXT Heatwave on 24 August. There, either Jordynne will crush Blake en route to another title shot, or WWE will protect Monroe.

Or, y'know, maybe they'll book a double countout/double DQ to protect both instead. That isn't exactly out of the question.

Either way, it's only a matter of time before Jordynne gets her hands on reigning NXT Women's Champion and Fatal Influence leader Jacy Jayne. The current champ deserves a ton of credit for scratching and clawing her way to success on the third brand - it would've been easy for her to sink when the likes of Mandy Rose and Gigi Dolin left the promotion, but she didn't. Instead, somewhat remarkably, Jacy thrived and worked her way to the top of the NXT women's division.

It remains to be seen whether or not she's in contention for a call up to Raw or SmackDown in the future, but it does seem certain that Grace will eventually get a title rematch and win the belt herself. Then, Shawn Michaels can have a little chat with his good buddy Triple H behind the scenes and thrash out Jayne's future plans.

The powerhouse Jordynne was signed from TNA to win major prizes and rule the roost. So, despite impressing before and during this title reign, the clock is ticking on Jacy's time on top.
