Every Current Champion In WWE (And Who Should Beat Them)

14. NXT Tag-Team Titles

Champions: Hank Walker & Tank Ledger

Who Should Beat Them: Talla Tonga & JC Mateo

Part of Solo's master plan would include prepping Talla Tonga and JC Mateo for bigger things to come on SmackDown by taking the NXT Tag-Team Titles. Hank & Tank have held those straps since beating Fraxiom back at Stand & Deliver, and it might seem too soon for them to drop the titles, but their loss would be part of a large scale storyline.

Talla and JC have already muscled their way into contention against The Wyatt Sicks for the mainline WWE Tag-Team Titles. In reality, they're probably losing out to Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis when big Erick Rowan distracts Talla long enough in a monster vs. monster battle to see Mateo eat the pin after a bit of double team action from The Sicks.

A furious Solo Sikoa would then warn his MFTs that failure will not be tolerated. If necessary, either JC or Tonga can pipe up and remind Solo that he's failed in the past himself. They'd be testing his wannabe 'Tribal Chief' attitude there, and it'd cause Sikoa to cut a deal with NXT that sees his troops head to developmental to prove their worth to him all over again.

Next stops: JC winning the North American gold and both he and Talla fending off Hank & Tank to become NXT Tag Champs. That's satisfy Sikoa for a while, and he'd then take the belts to SmackDown GM Nick Aldis as proof that the MFT crew deserve another crack at it against The Wyatts.

Why not, eh? Talla and JC showed real potential as a team on the 8 August SmackDown, and they'll only get better the more reps they're given.
