Every Current Champion In WWE (And Who Should Beat Them)

Champion: Giulia

Who Should Beat Her: Jade Cargill

The 8 August edition of SmackDown included an interesting-if-flawed backstage skit starring Jade Cargill, Giulia, Kiana James and Michin. Tiffany Stratton was there too, but she didn't really do much before darting off-screen so WWE could tease Jade joining Kiana's budding managerial portfolio. Then, Michin swooped in to take the business card and say it'd guarantee her a Women's United States Title match.

Not quite. That card belongs to Kiana, so it's unlikely cashing it in would force a match vs. Giulia (who is already one of her clients). Realistically, Michin will be fed to the champion as a makeweight before Cargill muscles in on the midcard women's scene following her loss to Stratton at SummerSlam. That'd be a decent enough spot for Jade.

A storm is coming, Giulia. Batten down the hatches!

Given that Giulia only replaced Zelina Vega as the Women's US Champ in late-June and is a rising star herself, it'd be a bit crap to have her drop the belt to Cargill quickly. The best plot going forwards would be Jade going back and forth on Kiana's offer to manage her, then ditching it in favour of a feud with the returning Bianca Belair.

Once Jade comes up short there (thus helping set the 'EST' up for other things), she can lure James into a false sense of security that she's had a change of heart. Then, when she's close, Cargill can take the Women's United States Title from Giulia either as a heel or as a crafty babyface who realised she had to start using subterfuge if she wanted to thrive on the WWE roster.
