In 2010, the Money In The Bank ladder match was still a relatively fresh concept leading into the inaugural PPV of the same name. With two of them being held on the same night for the very first time and a host of exciting talent entering the fray, there was cause for anticipation.

After Kane had already won and cashed in his briefcase withing the first hour and a half of the show, Edge and Randy Orton found themselves in the second ladder match of the evening for a WWE Championship opportunity.

With eight participants lined up for the incoming car crash, it was an interesting blend of old and new with the aforementioned Edge and Orton being joined by fellow veterans Chris Jericho and Mark Henry. On the other side of the coin were the perceived next generation of possible World Champions like Ted DiBiase, John Morrison, The Miz and Evan Bourne.

While there were patches of clumsiness and general miscommunication, especially among the younger competitors at times, the organised chaos delivered about as well as it could considering the absurdity that comes with a lot of these matches. Elaborate mutli-ladder set ups, four wrestlers all jostling across the one ladder, people recovering to save the day and of course a flood of teased briefcase grabs, keeping the winner up in the air.

The Miz would grab the case after a few thrilling false finishes - Evan Bourne's teased victory in particular - which of course led to his polarising WrestleMania main event.
