No one expected the street fight between Mr. McMahon and Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania XIX to be a technical classic, but even the most optimistic of critics had low expectations for the match even from a brawl perspective. By 2003 both Hogan and McMahon were far from youthful, and a major match between the two was expected to expose the limitations of age - unless all the stops were pulled out.

Hogan and McMahon shocked all and sundry by not just pulling out all of the stops, but by ripping the stops out from the ground and soaking them in each other's blood. The street fight was a violent masterpiece that lived up to its inherent iconic spectacle. Both men went all out to beat the ever-loving p*ss out of each other.

The match is remembered for one of the great facial expressions in wrestling history, as Vince McMahon's bloody face stared psychotically at a prone Hulkster from just below the ring apron. The image captured the maniacal nature of the carnage, as the brains and the brawn of Hulkamania went toe-to-toe on the grandest stage of them all.
