Every NJPW G1 Climax Entrant Ranked From Least To Most Likely To Win
12. EVIL
Los Ingobernables de Japon is wall-to-wall talent, with three capable heavyweights, all of whom are entered into the G1. That fact alone is enough to rule out a tournament win for the King of Darkness, EVIL.
EVIL's 2016 run included some fun bouts with Omega and Shibata, and a terrific, master-versus-pupil clash with Naito. Therein lies his problem, as Naito's immense popularity is always going to overshadow his stablemates. EVIL has had some breakout moments, but winning the G1 this year doesn't seem feasible.
If NJPW are serious about building EVIL's singles credibility, a run to the finals is not out of the question. Winning it all is.
