1. Beast In The East

For his battle with Kevin Owens in Japan, Finn’s Demon adopted some native accents in tribute to the Far East country. Bálor had once considered the nation a second home of sorts during his time with NJPW. It was there that he first began to experiment with covering himself in head-to-toe warpaint for important matches. Gone, however, were the depictions of comic book heroes and villains, replaced by the singular Demon persona.

While the agape mouth covering his torso and face remained, it was elaborated on with the addition of a rigid white outline around Finn's eyes. It was actually the most painted Finn has ever been with nearly every inch of his flesh covered to some extent, and featured the first asymmetrical design for the Demon. Bálor’s right side was covered in a black fog-like pattern, while his left half featured the traditional accents of bulging veins. The most striking addition, however, was the incorporation of a red-faced Oni, or Japanese ogre, on his back.

It was easily the most unique and awe-inspiring embodiment of the Demon fans have seen. It perfectly encapsulated what the alter ego was and added enough eye-catching distinctions to stand out from the pack.
