Yes, the Big Show was the final WWF Champion of the millennium. Fair f*cks to that.

Coming in as a last-minute replacement for an injured Steve Austin, Big Show defeated The Rock and Triple H at Survivor Series 1999 to win his first world title in WWE. That’s quite impressive given how, in his first year with the company, WWE treated him like a complete joke. However, Show was vindicated, celebrating with the WWF Championship with tears in his eyes.

Unfortunately, his title run did not improve his standing. Playing the role of midcard champion while the Triple H/Vince McMahon feud dominated television, Show continued his feud with the Big Boss Man, culminating in a three-minute match at Armageddon: Show’s only PPV title defense. Three days into the 21st century, Triple H defeated Show on RAW to win back his title, and Show shuffled back down the card. While not the worst title reign, it’s one where, thinking on it, you can only shrug and say “Well, that happened,” and move on.
