21. Jessi Kamea

Then: Performance Center graduate Jessi Kamea worked over 100 matches for WWE across NXT, EVOLVE and even main roster 'C' show Main Event. Her 2 matches on the latter broadcast came in 2020 when she faced (and lost) to Shayna Baszler on the 16 July 2020 episode then to Bianca Belair on the 23 July 2020 edition.

Those would've been valuable experiences for Kamea, if nothing else, but she was eventually released from her deal with the promotion in November 2021 without ever being called up to the main roster for a stint on Raw or SmackDown. Not even as an extra! Rumours that she'd be part of the RETRIBUTION faction proved false.

Now: Jessi has kept wrestling on the independent scene, but skipped the entirety of 2024. Then, in September 2025, she broke her sabbatical by working a tag match in Canada. That had followed no less than 21 matches for celebrated female promotion Stardom in 2023.

Her April-June '23 run there was densely packed but ultimately another non-starter for Kamea.

It looks likely that Jessi has decided to leave wrestling behind as a full-time pursuit, because fans noticed that her social media posts about the biz started drying up around the same time her Stardom run ended in 2023. That's perhaps what makes the 2025 comeback even more surprising, but don't go holding out hopes for a WWE reprise anytime soon.

Other fans also spotted that Kamea had another Instagram page dedicated to her artwork, but things have gone quiet on that side of things as well. Hey, maintaining a daily social media presence isn't for everybody. Maybe she's far too busy enjoying life.
