Fighting With My Family Review: 7 Ups & 3 Downs

3. It's Entertaining For Fans & Newbies Alike

It's a difficult balance to strike, especially with something as insular as the zany world of wrestling, but this film should appeal well to both voracious fans of the sport and those who know nothing about it.

For fans, it's a fun breeze past the formative moments in Paige's early career with a ton of cute nods to the industry, but for the uninitiated, it spoon-feeds just enough information about the business while succeeding largely thanks to its winning charm.

It strikes an extremely delicate balance of broadening Paige's story into something a little more cinematic and simple, but not so much that it'll alienate the hardcore wrestling crowd.

It's not gritty or trying to be ultra-faithful, but where it counts, it gets the feeling right.
