Former WWE NXT Wrestler Debuts At AEW Fight For The Fallen
It was a quick night for the recently-released up-and-comer.

Former WWE NXT wrestler MJ Jenkins returned to the ring on last night's AEW Fight for the Fallen show, teaming with enhancement talent Kenzie Paige to face The Nightmare Sisters of Allie and Brandi Rhodes.
It was a quick and snappy squash defeat for Jenkins, with her and Paige barely mounting any offense before they were undone by Allie and Rhodes. The Nightmare Sisters building cohesion against jobbers has been a constant theme throughout the past few weeks.
It is unclear whether or not Jenkins will be used by AEW going forward, though her WWE no-compete clause would have expired yesterday. She was one of dozens of wrestlers released by the promotion as part of the mass Black Wednesday cuts on 15 April.
MJ's release was particularly saddening as it came shortly after her brother-in-law passed away due to the illness currently sweeping the planet, compounding what must have been a miserable period for her.
Jenkins signed with WWE in July 2018. She competed in that year's Mae Young Classic tournament, where Rhea Ripley eliminated her in the first round, but hadn't broken into a regular televised role, making just one NXT appearance before her release.
